Benjamin Phillips, DDS
Dr. Benjamin Phillips completed his undergraduate education at Indiana University, go Hoosiers! He then continued onto Colorado State University for post baccalaurate coursework in Biochemistry before attending The State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine.
While in dental school he completed multiple research projects and presentations on forensic dentistry. He also completed an externship in oral surgery and a minor in endodontics. Upon graduation he moved to Maine to work in a public health setting serving the underserved. After 2 years he and family decided to set their roots down in Maine.
Dr. Phillips opened Hermon Family Dental from scratch in 2012 and has built his practice and reputation on compassionate and quality dental care. He is one of the only general dentists in the state to utilize dental microscopes in all aspects of his dental treatment. This allows for more precise and minimally invasive procedures and also allows him to complete many specialty procedures without having to refer out of the office.
Dr. Phillips has completed continuing education in many aspects of dentistry. He believes in offering comprehensive, high quality care in a comfortable and calming environment for the whole family, children and adults alike.
He enjoys skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, and spending time with his family and 3 border collies.
Jennifer Wilson, DMD
Dr. Jennifer Wilson was born and raised right down the road in Hampden. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biological and Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine and went on to receive her doctorate in dentistry at Tufts University in Boston. After graduation, Dr. Wilson completed her General Practice Residency at UNC in Chapel Hill, NC. Prior to returning to the area, she owned and operated a private practice in the Seattle, Washington area.
Dr. Wilson met her husband, Will Brown, while going through dental school together and they have a 2 year old son, PJ. They are very excited to finally call Maine home again and be back with close friends and family.
